I’m sure you think it’s easy to get this company to sponsor because they are local but you’re wrong. Tabasco refuses to sponsor UL athletics because they feel it’s not needed for them to sell their product. They will sponsor a team in Alaska before ever giving UL a dime. Now if you’re any other local organization, their Red Cares program will not hesitate to donate up to $500. They just refuse to help the Cajuns.
Thanks for the insight. No, i did not think it would have been eaay, but it does seem a shame.... it is a good point it is not needed for them, but cant help but wonder if more to the story.
Seems some of their execs would be alum? Do they help on academic side at least?
Oops...alaska or TSAB ya mean. Do we have an agruculture department??

The initial response was measured and made sense. I thought initially...that is a good take for them and good for them to stay objective.
But ooops, upon further review: doesnt seem like they needed this either, to grow their brand/ sell their product.

I don't remember the last time but not so long ago Tabasco use to have a tent above the levee at Cajun Field.
The stance of 'if we can't have all of it we want none of it' is shortsighted IMO
