It’s like Des and team get scared when they have a lead. They can’t handle it, over think it, and start making mistakes and terrible play calling. Glad we got the win! No reason we should have let them back in it.

There were some extenuating circumstances that changed momentum besides play calling. On one drive, we faced a first and 30 situation due to penalties. Both 2nd half picks were balls that our receivers got their hands on. The PI call in the end zone was poor in my view as well. I talked to a coach on staff today who feels that Ware should have caught the pass that was picked early in the third quarter. Also feels we would have blown them out had he come down with it. Shows how one play can change complexion of game. However, I give credit to the offense for converting a 3rd and 13 play with a pass to Sampson late in the game. That turned momentum back our way. The OL actually gave Lunch sufficient time to fire it on that play.

Beale is not a D1 FBS QB. don't expect him to be back.
I have confidence Lunch will be here. He fits in perfectly here.

I also am confident Lunch will be here next season. Of course I could be wrong but if I had to put money on things, my bet is on him returning.

Lunch was guest speaker at QB Club on Thursday. He said his football plan is to finish his eligibility here. Of course things can always change. He did not say the previous sentence. I did.

IDK. We still haven't hit 400 yards of offense in a game despite his numbers. It's up to the average fan to decide if that's him or the coaches.

We have people saying Lunch could be lured away by NIL, RR saying Howard is done after this year and now you're saying Beale will be gone next year. I certainly hope our QB situation is not as bad as that next year.

Caden Jensen talked about the 2nd pick on a Ragin Review interview last night. He said the second pick was entirely his fault. Simply put, he believes he should have held on to the ball as it hit his hands.

Good to Jensen getting some looks although he could be a much bigger weapon for us if we really used him, especially in the redzone

This team plays ultra hard for Lunch. Lunch is a vocal leader that we need. He just fits in perfect on the Cajuns. He engages the fan is very positive. He is a true leader. You can't teach to lead, it just has to be in you. It is in Lunch.

Man, I was totally stressed out in the second half. We couldn't stop them, and we couldn't establish any drives, and there was plenty of time.

We stepped it up on that last drive, aided by their penalties, but we got the "W"!
