We use to joke when i was in Pride of Acadiana that we had more people for a Band Competition then UL did for a football game!!

Since you were in the POA, what do you think of this year's band?

This is gonna sound bad, with my work schedule, and me livng 4 hours away i havent attended a game yet this season. I will be in town against Southern Miss though i gotta reserve judgement when i come down next week.

I think Turbine or anyone else who was in the band in the 80’s can safely say the best POA has ever been was back in the 80’s they were loud, played in tune, and were a top notch band back then. I was in POA from 2002-2006

Also a graduate of LOUISIANA and drumline captain of POA back when I marched with them. Was really happy to hear him get that position at Southern Miss. He's been there for the last 25 years or so, at least.
