LCA football's QB Braylon Walker commits to play for UL football on defense

Every opponent facing Lafayette Christian Academy this season knows about No. 7, the speedy quarterback, Braylon Walker.

The senior dual-threat quarterback has been lighting folks up, leading his Knights to a 3-1 start so far this season. With an arm to back up his legs, Walker will be staying at home to play Division I ball for Louisiana Ragin’ Cajun football — only he won’t be doing so as a quarterback.

Walker threw 6 picks last week. I forget who the opponent was but it was in New Orleans against a top Crescent City team. I saw some highlights and on one pick he rolled right and threw back across the middle. That does not mean we give up on him. He probably just needs some coaching. A redshirt year will help.
