I'm with you Boomer. I've been begging for a return of a physical program. They think a digital copy is enough.

I always liked getting a physical copy. Something to look back on years later as well.

On a recent trip I grabbed a 2006 media guide and gameday program.

There is absolutely nothing like the perusing of that stuff.

Digital is fantastic when you know what you are looking for, but it doesn't lend itself much to nostalgia.

It's more than that Turbine. I can't tell you the number of hours I spent as a kid with my head in a program my Dad brought back from the games. Gameday programs are a bridge to the future Cajun Fan. It's the tie that binds generations together. It pains me that I don't have programs to hand down to my future grand children.

Also, it is so much easier to flip through a program during the game than it is to read and swipe tiny phone screens.

Finally, so much ad revenue is lost without a physical program. Even if they are a net loser in money, it is worth the investment for us to produce them. This is one of those things with high return on investment in more ways than today's dollars.

    All of this

Plus without significantly improved cell or wifi service, the digital programs only work if you load them before getting to the stadium on gameday. Yes, you might have a few dedicated fans that will do that beforehand but why make it a challenge- fan engagement at the games would increase substantially

Back in the old days at Blackham, they gave out programs that had the upcoming home schedule on the front. That was a good idea.

I'm with you Boomer. I still have football and basketball programs going back to the late 1970's.
