LSU just signed a kid from Southern to the baseball team. It's not unheard of.

SWAC is turning into a sort of JUCO league. Players that are overlooked can go to a SWAC team and play D1 competition mid week. Put up numbers and they have a chance to either get drafted or move up to another D1 school.

Being that I only worked with Coach Robe and have no ties to Coach Deggs, I admittedly haven’t followed baseball as closely as I used to. But this board has a few who seem to want Deggs to fail. It’s dragged me back in, because I can’t wait for him to get this thing going again.

It's disappointing that several have turned on him pretty quickly. Does he need to right the ship? Of course. But some have gone beyond that, which is not helping the program.

I'm not really seeing the pitchforks out yet or people hoping he fails. But the results of last season with the offseason he's having definitely warrants skepticism. I am pulling for him.

Some people on this board have short memories. Degg's took over this program in 2020 that had absolutely nothing talent wise for the most part to regionals 3 of the last 4 years. Hang the man in public for Christ sake. Also, I'd be willing to bet the majority of those complaining aren't even season ticket holders and God forbid reach into their bank accounts to support the program. Always a lot easier to just whine about stuff.
