Besides, they can stop and eat at Foote's favorite Chicken/Burger joint on the way.
I wasn’t talking about the coaches, T. I know they have to give “coach speak”.

Lessons of the past are being forgotten. Historically these other universities have always been adversaries. Blackballing USL for integrating sports teams and the treatment of Shipley by the state HOF crowd. The SLC, McNeese and other state institutions actions/attitudes when USL wanted to remain D1 in football. The ‘84 name fight. The subsequent 90’s UL name game, where ULM made the first “Louisiana” move. Academically, as UL silently approached R-1 status, “collaborations” started happening with that ilk. The whole time, they all reeked of Tiger taint.

And here we are, some fake love fest with the “Flagship of I-20”, helping prop up 2 meh institutions for the price of one.

Everyone with half a brain can see the SBCE will bolt. I can’t blame them, ULM is being propped up like Bernie Lomax and Tech’s reputation preceded this. And we’re guilty by association. But cheap and easy of the GSC of the 1950’s is coming. Staying relevant is work, it can’t be brushed off like 3rd party contracts.

    Rant off.

Maggard definitely doesn’t care about loly poly past insults, keeping us out of CUSA, insults to the Conference. Maggard has no pride, he’s all about money and big spenders. He has forgotten the middle class and retirees.
Cajuns have pride and they don’t like to be insulted

You are exactly right, why not get feedback from Cajun Nation. They are have problems with getting money from Diehards. I personal won’t support STUPIDITY.

How could he? Or anyone in the Cox building for that matter?

They all believe UL Athletics started the day they walked through the door. They have ZERO appreciation, care or understanding for anything that happened here prior to their tenure.
