Any one have a drawing or artificial pic of what the stadium would look like from Bertrand and Congress without trees blocking the it? I have been very curious of that for a while now.
I want to see our Lady of Lourdes stadium from corner from corner without obstruction. Not what you speak of in Babylonian. I live less than a mile from the stadium as the crow flies and see probably around 200 trees between my house and the stadium. Love every one of them.
I had forgot his, name but not the event.
According to CoPilot
"Harvey Updyke was an Alabama football fan who became infamous for poisoning the iconic oak trees at Toomer's Corner in Auburn, Alabama. These trees were a beloved tradition for Auburn University fans, who would decorate them with toilet paper after significant victories.
In 2011, Updyke used a powerful herbicide called Spike 80DF to poison the trees following Auburn's win over Alabama in the Iron Bowl. He later admitted to the crime on a radio show and was convicted of felony criminal damage to an agricultural facility. Updyke served over 70 days in jail and was ordered to pay around $800,000 in restitution"
