Football is one of the winningest teams in the country over the last 10 years. Stick and ball sports are traditionally excellent to well above average, and we just hired a men's basketball coach with Final 4 experience.

We have never been in a better position to appeal to another conference.

I would agree we are overall in decent shape as a program that has had some good teams recently and are in no way shameful, but we need a few statement wins to garner some national attention. Football this fall would be a great time to start.

HUGE opportunity Week 3 at a Mizzou team that went 10-3 last season with a win in the Music City Bowl and 11-2 in 2023 with a win over Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl.

Really the only opportunity to get that "signature win" this year that would stand out on a national level, other than facing off against a P4 in a bowl game where a bunch of players on both teams might be sitting out.
