FYI. From Enrollment

Today marks the conclusion of our academic year and the end of our campus visit data for the 2024–2025 recruitment cycle.

Throughout the past year, we hosted six major recruitment events, 85 group tours, had two daily tours offered Monday through Thursday and one on Fridays and select Saturdays through out year. Altogether, from July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025, our recruitment efforts brought 8,419 prospective students and a total of 17,962 individuals to the campus of UL Lafayette.

Based on the age brackets in other threads discussing our best fan group compared to the younger generation, should we go back to those "glory days" of open admissions to rwbuild the fan base?

Heck, TSAB bout did it to restore their numbers. It does hurt retention.
Parents are really fussing about lack of housing for our incoming freshmen. Big group again looks like.

Well we need to double our on campus degree seeking undergraduate and graduate students.

That would get us to roughly 25k on campus students.

Our goal is 20,000 students UG plus Grad. Will be very difficult as our LA base is shrinking, we seem to dislike international students for grad school, and are trying to maintain standards. Tough row.
