FFS.....this again. Unreal how any UL fan would EVER advocate to have Tech in our conference. Un...real. Yeah, let's elevate those folks to compete with us for recruits. Brilliant. Ill never understand that. If you think Tech would EVER lift a finger to help us out by pulling us up, you're smoking something. They would never. In fact...they've done the opposite....worked to keep us down. There's other schools to go after.

The question is how do you view the cream? What standards? I think this has been breaking down along public/private lines. The cream of the AAC are a bunch of private schools and Memphis and USF.

I think those schools will never voluntarily associate with most of the SBC or CUSA. I can see schools like UTSA/UNT/UAB/ECU with the SBC one day if they aren't in a different league already.

Bottom line though, if we want to be in the top G6 regional league, that won't be in the SBC. We are going to have to leave. I don't see us ever having the guts to do that.

Well, if I were a betting man, UL and ULM knew how the votes would fall amongst the presidents. Politically, the best of both worlds.

Also would bet USM and USA lead the no coalition.

There is a difference between a hated rival and hated business partner. Tech is a bad business partner.
