Transfer Portal: UL Baseball

How many players in the portal will end up in an equal to or better program than UL. My opinion maybe Wright and the rest will move downward. If I am right enough said.

I’d have to think Yuhasz had an offer somewhere for him to get in the portal.

Coach Deggs said from the beginning of the season, even at Diamond Club meetings that he made a decision to go young with 24 underclassmen this past season. He took a chance, and it didn't payoff. Injuries certainly played a role, but he needs to self-correct in managing his roster. We haven't experienced this much transition in the program in recent years, so it's a bit unnerving.

My philosophy is simple, fix it! It starts with him as the face of the program. I don't care about the details on how he will move forward, I care about the results.

I was talking today with a former player who played on the 2000 cws team. He still follows UL baseball and he said this team just didn't have the vocal leaders. Deggs needs to get about three vocal alpha dogs!

I heard the same thing from a former player from that team. Might be the same guy. Who knows.

He had a couple of great years at the plate for UNO and also served as their closer.
