I LOVE my university but I HATE the RAGIN' CAJUNS app (and digital tickets). This app collects an enormous amount of personal data. It has access to your:

full address book/contacts
camera
microphone
nearby devices
network
personal photos and videos
phone
phone sensors, including GPS
all notifications, even from other apps

Why does my athletic department need this enormous data collection?
What do they do with the data?
How do they protect this data?
Do they sell this data and do the buyers have a right to re-sell it?
Does the developer of the app have access to the data?
Is the developer trustworthy?
Why is it so damn buggy?

We can do better.
