I think the plan was to have new turf installed this summer. I was under the impression that it was a done deal.

I was as well but then I got some second hand information yesterday. I guess we will see soon enough

Drop that blob at the 50yd line. Since the stacked logo b.s. isn't going away anytime soon, I propose a straight up huge state of Louisiana silhouette at midfield and thats it. Color it simply darker than the turf. Better yet, see if there is a type of material which can interact with the new L.E.D. lighting. Sounds like a big cost but in reality it wouldnt be if new matrix turf is being constructed. The stacked logo at the 50 is about as cool as the field goal being planted 10 yards inward at the goal line. I to this day still can not believe they actually did that (FG at the goal line back in the day and that stacked blob logo at the 50.) SMH.

…..I heard that the other side will be athletics’ offices and a kinda student union with restaurants and also opened to the public for income revenue purposes…..Is this on the menu or do I dream this…..it would complete all but baseball and basketball practice areas!
