Yep. Runners on 1st and 2nd and routine DP ball hit to Liscano who flips to Vasquez and she threw wide of 1st base. Runner on 2nd came around to score.

This lost really stings. The Cajuns need to win both games tomorrow. The most disappointing things was the bunting not once but twice with one out and a runner at first. Why give up a out to advance a runner when you already have an out? That's the problem with slappers who really can't drive the ball.

Habetz is too enamored with the sacrifice bunt. We don't have the lineup to be giving away outs. Our starting pitcher cannot closeout a game, last week at Coastal should have been an indication.

I'm OK with the sac bunt if we don't have an out, not doing it with an out. One time they even had Sav try to bunt with nobody on and two outs.

Also this is a top 40 softball program and we brought in a damn good coach, what's happening is inexcusable imo

Baseball has had quite a few of their best players miss WEEKS of time, and currently have the #11 toughest non-conference schedule in the country.

They’re 1 game out of 1st in the conference and should be getting some guys back over the next couple of weeks.

Softball has an all star team playing at other schools for a myriad of reasons that have been discussed ad nauseam.
