Hess balanced the hits with more strike outs (a couple of big ones) and no walks. Hammer has a rough night, but still got 4 Ks in 1.2.

Like that while we played a ton of guys again, at they got decent production pretty much throughout the line up.

Clayton Pourciau was really good behind the plate and in the batters box tonight in his first appearance as a Cajun. He was a VERY highly regarded C coming out of high school. It's only one game, but it was good to see.
