He was and may still be the leading rebounder on the team (havent checked in a week or so), and he wasnt playing all that much. His extra playing time well earned and deserved.
Johnson is the best player on the team. what I like about the guy is he does his job and gets it done quietly. Need more players like that.
Agreed. He does the job and isnt flashy about it.

I don't know if I agree with Johnson being the best player on the team. In fact, I can't think of one guy I would put in that position. Johnson has had way too many turnovers this year, is inconsistent from the perimeter, and has troubled finishing inside plays. Evidence of the last point is the dunk he missed at Denver. Now he does play hard and his trouble on finishing inside plays is because he has a slim body which is a problem for someone playing the four spot. Metry is right in that he would not have been a starter on teams we had just a few years ago. Best player on the floor last night was Ryan Gary. He is a garbage man type of player but you need that type of guy to be successful. He puts out great effort every minute on the floor, goes to the glass hard, and is our best free throw shooter. We really missed him at Denver because we could not match up well. Disappointing guy recently is Bureau. That 3 pointer from the corner he hit earlier this year is not falling now and I wish he would drive to the basket more while canning that shot Same thing happened to him late in the season last year. I wonder if he hits the "wall" due to not being strong enough. Note I said there is a problem with both Bureau and Johnson not being strong enough. I don't think we have a dedicated strength and conditioning guy just for basketball and wonder how much improvement the team would realize if we did have one.
