It was a $200K decision at a minimum for him, as his buyout dropped from $600K to $400K after the season. I’m curious if he would have still been due the $400K if he chose the retirement option. If not, it becomes a $600K decision.

Always follow the money. It’s just like NIL, the biggest payday. 200k swing, didn’t leave it on the table.

For all to know: they are not offering pro-rated season ticket packages for remainder of the season. I think they're missing opportunity here to get some extra revenue for conference season.
