I’m ready for the P2 to break off from the ncaa. Let the rest of fbs go back to transfer restrictions. Every player on every team gets the same income or something like that. And once you sign with a school in the new fbs you can leave without sitting out a year. Even to go to the new P2 league

Could easily be wrong but I believe the system you're describing is now considered unconstitutional. You can't put any restrictions on a person's ability to make more money for themselves

The number of people saying "go chase that bag young man!", or "don't risk your body for less money if you can get more!".

Not one person mentions the full tuition, room and board, etc that these guys get. They don't mention school at all.

Just burn this ____ down and hire them as employees.
The sad part is in many of these situations it’s family waiting to leach off these guys. And many will be standing there broke, holding their junk, no degree in a few years and wondering what happened. And many with a ____ed off baby momma.

All this is perpetuating the problem the NCAA does a nice ad about but most ignore. You’re not making the next level.

Yeah I don't mean to turn this into a racial debate, but I'll just say that we have a serious culture problem right now.

At least we know that there will be no shortage of ex-college athletes available to fill high school coaching positions in 4-5 years

Now why would the NCAA go and do that when they can have the fans pay for it....

It'll take another generation or so, but most fanbases will realize throwing NIL money at kids is a massive waste, especially at the G5 level. I've already started giving my money to Moncus park instead. It's a better ROI for me and my family.

This. With inflation and everything else going on, this whole thing feels like a huge waste of time and money from a fan/ alumn standpoint. There becomes a point when it's not worth continuing to pay more and more

Not a race debate at all. Seen it both sides.

A wise man told me decades ago “stupid knows no color”.

The problem always has been and always will be “the adults.” Can’t blame the kids one bit, if there weren’t so many idiots that literally willing to pay to win at all costs we wouldn’t have this problem. As long as there are people willing to give you money there will be people there to take it, including everyone here.
