Running backs aren't the problem. We need to find another line because we're losing this one, but that might not be a bad thing based on what I saw last night. He's gonna have to hit the portal hard.

Not sure how much success we will have crafting an offensive line out of the portal though. Those guys will command top dollar. That's why when you've got a line full of experience and leadership (guys you've built up from high school) you need them to perform. That group got their tails whipped last night.

Dude was beyond rough. He was overthrowing literally everything. He also couldnt read the defense even a little, so many throws into tight coverage that had no chance of success. By the time we went down 24-3, it was obvious it was over, I just was hoping to see a few wow throws that make you feel like he could be something next year, but defeinitely did not see any of that tonight.

What the hell did you expect from a true freshman, 18 or 19 years old, with no real game experience and zero running game or real pass blocking to support him?

We had a good season.. Good lord, the sky isn't falling. For basketball yes, but not other sports!! We over achieved. That's a good thing.. oh we got beat by better team.

I was expecting another 6 or 7 (if we won the bowl game) season when we started in September. While a bit frustrating to think of "what could have been" with Tulane and South AL, this was still a much more fun and winning season than I expected.

We have 0 defense

I think our pass defense (secondary) has actually been pretty darn good. Our run defense and tackling at initial contact has been God awful all season long. Marshall exposed it last night better than any other team we faced this season. Getting put into a bowl game vs. Navy or Army will be brutal.

Jake couldn't have won last night. We just got whipped. Plain and simple. It happens.

Beale will be much better knowing and preparing as QB1

With Ben and Chandler likely out, it's gonna be all on Beale in the bowl game.

This would be the time to implement some wildcat type packages with Legendre to take some pressure off of Beale IMO

Legendre is the best athlete on our offense. It would be nice to unleash that ability in his last game
