Give it a decade or so and the PAC will return to its roots. As costs of travel rises, the pigs at the trough will push the west coast teams out via cost savings for everyone. Might be a split A2 conference, might not. But the reality of time zones cannot be denied when over half the viewers in America don’t care what happens on a football field late on a Saturday night in California.

They were always everyone's favorite teams to cheer against, kinda like the Lakers... but all it took was a few years of not being title contenders for America at large to stop caring about USC, UCLA, Stanford, etc altogether
