Do they still have a concession booth in the south end zone at football games?

    Might be safer

arrest made in the KOK shooting. that was pretty quick. I did see some cops there today looking around, probably for evidence. That probably should have happened before the deluge of rain this morning.

Suspect is from St. Martinsville. There was also a deadly shooting at the SMHS vs Erath football game a couple of weeks ago.

What the hell is going on in St. Martinville to cause this shenanigans?

Heard a story about that shooting. 2 kids grew up in the same neighborhood. Hated each other got arrested multiple times for fighting since they were young. They got in a fight before the game. 1 beat the crap out of the other. The loser left, came back with a gun and shot the other. Fled the scene and was arrested in Beaumont.

I've read several innacurate news headlines associating this shooting with Louisiana's Homecoming game.

Just because it happened on the same day does not mean there is a homecoming connection.

I wonder if these innacurate headlines kept people away yesterday as if the takeaway was the UL football games are dangerous

The surrounding small towns tend to have some pretty violent criminals. Easier for them to hide out there rather than the city.

Do you really think my asking about this headline association is more damaging than the actual headline?

There are stupid people everywhere. Not just in Lafayette on a football Saturday night. The three guys were not very smart to murder 2 people and wound 2 others in front a couple of hundred witnesses. Obviously not brain surgeons.
