Take the ESPN contract and burn the Damn thing.
There is no point to paying for Tailgating with this contract.
Breakfast beers
The Sun Belt Conference, in conjunction with ESPN, announced that the September 21 matchup between in-state rivals Louisiana and Tulane will be aired nationally on ESPNU.
____ing awful, man.
I’ll take suck the life out of Cajun Field for $1,000, Alex.
The one aspect of having a week off that I do not like is the quarterback heads straight to the weight room and looses his touch when they come back from the bye.
If you don't believe me watch against Tulane, Wooldridge will not be as accurate as he was the first two games of the season.
Muscle memory will be lost during the bye.
Nothing has done more to hurt attendance at Cajun Field than the espn contract. It's just a fact.
Ughhh I didn't get a chance to setup tailgating last game, and now it's not really worth it for this game either.
What would have been the biggest home game (not counting SBC game) in quite a while just went down the drains. This will also limit Tulane fans driving in that day for the game
All to play on ESPNU, not even ESPN or ESPN2
Man, I know it may hurt attendance, though it shouldn't if the local area actually supported the program. However, we are begging for national relevancy (or should be) in the current landscape, and we've seen thanks to success in the Hud and Napier years that the national folks will talk us up when we are winning.
What better way to get back on the radar of the national college football media than to upset what has been a recently very successful Tulane program at Cajun Field on one of the national TV stations?
