I quickly reviewed some of the individual games for Davis at Eastern Illinois. Appears he is more of a swing man (good rebounder for a guard) than a point guard. He generally was not the leading assist guy at Eastern Illinois. We still need to bring in a point guard. I believe they are still recruiting for that position.

Appears Powell is replacement for Charles while Davis is replacement for Julien. No idea if they are better players than guys who have moved on. Both were starters at D1 schools however. Of course other guys on team will challenge for those starting spots. We still need to replace Fulks which is why I said recruitment of a point guard is ongoing. I suspect that person will also come from the portal.

I actually am excited to see what this newly revamped roster will do this year. Transfer portal is just wild. I think we better get used to it regardless of who the coach is going forward.
