I did not see this meltdown coming

The better team won. Georgia State started out sloppy, didn’t think that would continue. Julien had over half our first half points, GSU pretty much shut him down in the second half. They physically beat UL in the second half. Size matters, UL could not match up.

Only bad part with the guy getting toss, had two youngsters with him. But he did get a one finger salute off before leaving.

Security guy. I started singing “there goes my hero” as he was escorted out. He walked up to me and said “you’re going to be next”.

Beyond the usual student section stuff, the worst I did was heckle a player by name and chant “moneyline” on each questionable call. Soft.

Good lord man. We should stop pushing for Louisiana and just go by WBU (Web Blanket University).

I was referring to the game. Georgia State ended the game in a 36-17 run.

By today’s standards, I would have been tossed from 99.7% of games that I attended as a student, in any sport.

Honestly just put shock collars on all our students as they walk in. Any fun detected gets them a zap.

Guy who got tossed basically went ballistic. His wife wasn’t there tonight to calm him down. He threatened the ref. At that point I knew it was goodby. Nice family. One beer too many?? He’s just a few seats away. We’ve watched his kids grow. He’ll do better next game.
Not that I disagreed with what he said. That was a really bad call he made on Kantrell. Down by two. K knocks ball from player and potential layup is blown dead. They make all 3 FTs. Down by 5 with two minutes. Bad shoots followed. Game over. That ref had three really bad calls. Trust he was either fired or cashed a nice check.
We lost game with no bench help, out of control drives and lousy shooting in 2nd half. But one ref changed how close the game would be at the end.
And still no replay of bad ref calls. UL decision or Belt. Whoever is making that decision ranks with the person in charge of egress from the C parking area. Weak

Up 57-50 after a Joe Charles 3 with 10 minutes to go. Get outscored 28-12 to end the game. They completely took Hosana out of the game.

How did he threaten the ref? Depending on what was said exactly, it may have been warranted. That ding dong ref changed the course of the game in the last few minutes.
