Hopefully it wasn't the school. I'm sure a lot of people in Lafayette work until 5:00 (like myself that can't make the game now) That would be a bad look for the school.

Basketball program wanted to play later than 4. It was not their call. Conference office probably made the decision after consulting with ULM, Texas State and the 2 schools scheduled to play last night. I imagine Ark State wanted to get to Monroe at a decent hour as they likely have hotel reservations there. Their game against ULM scheduled for Saturday night has also been moved to Sunday afternoon.
