What Teams get left out of the Playoffs?

Having lived on the west coast, they play great football. We don’t get to see them enough down here and we are absolutely saturated with an SEC/ESPN bias.

The SEC was down, Texas pounded Alabama in title town. FSU played 2 SEC teams and smashed them both. The ACC owned a winning record against the SEC.

3. FSU
4. Texas

I’m good with that bracket. I just think espn wants mich vs Texas in championship.

Wouldn’t Texas’ win over Bama be better than Bama’s win over Georgia now?

Head to head should matter. Texas should get in.

For the NY6, SMU over Liberty. The Flames went undefeated, which is hard to do, but did it against no one special. We know that winning a bunch of games in a row and a championship don’t automatically get you special placement. Liberty should play TXST.

This is the last time they will have this issue and it’s a tough one. With the pac 12 going away you’d have 4 p5 conferences next season. Ironically they’re going to the 12 team playoff.

Personally I think Michigan, Ohio state, Texas, Alabama, and Georgia are the best teams. But Washington and fsu earned a spot.

This is what I think they’ll do, and they want a mich vs Texas final.

I don’t know if they want that final, although I think it would be a good one. I do think they DON’T want another Georgia/Bama matchup. Time for a fresh matchup.

To me, Texas doesn’t have the resume. Yes, they beat Bama, but it was earlier in the season. Bama has the signature win in CFB this year and played a much more difficult schedule than Texas. Also, no way the SEC Champ with a victory over #1 gets left out.

I think these four get in. With FSU on the outside looking in.
Bama lost a non-conference game to one of the best teams in the country. If being undefeated means more than playing the best non-conference games you can play, why would anyone schedule tough non-conference games.

Alabama did beat Georgia yesterday, but what about their miracle, last second win over an awful Auburn team. Seems like that should count against them.

Had a Georgia fan actually say to me on Friday that there is bias AGAINST the SEC.

It would be really interesting and a little satisfying to see them left out. Somehow, I think they get a team in though. All the bias against them and stuff.

If FSU doesn't get in, it would be the first time ever that an undefeated P5 conference champion is left out. Their QB situation shouldn't diminish their season.
