Different Coaching styles and the need for TIME MACHINES

. . . what evidence do you have of each of the indictments you described above and the scope of each . . . it looks like there may have been an inch to be debated and when it is discussed here you get a foot on each item . . . looks more like sour grapes that our coach was given the job to me . . .

I was just reading through the thread and what KK says he sees every morning when he passes at 5 AM this year compared to years past when napier was here. I assume he’s telling the truth. If so that’s all the evidence I need. We all discussed last year about the changes in camp we know that took place, that is know secret, there is your evidence on that. I have read in several places where players have said it’s a lot more laid back now than with napier.... Can you give me evidence where all this is not true? I’m all ears.

I have read KK post he appears to know what he’s talking about with a good source. But in this case the man said he drove the same route to the gym down Cajun Dome Blvd, for the last several years at around 5 AM. He told us what he witnessed in the past. I don’t know him personally are you suggesting he’s lying? Just because you obviously don’t want to believe it you automatically discredit the source. Now do the training camp changes that we all talked about last August? Why is that assumed to be false information? Was it all just made up?

Dude you are totally losing any credibility you may have. The changes in camp were discussed on here in August before the first game took place so there were no results yet. If you think the reason college coaches across America bring all their team under one roof during training camp, is only about where you sleep you haven’t a clue. I personally know 2 bartenders at Night Town in Downtown they both told me they saw players out during camp all last August..... No one ever said they don’t work out. I think it was simply stated they do it later. Napier got them up early because it’s one of the little things that make you mentally tougher.

I actually give mike a pass on wins and loses because of what he lost from the year before. But that doesn’t change what my eyes saw on the field. With talent he had he probably could have won 2 or 3 more games if his team was disciplined and as mentally tough as Napier’s. I’ll give you 2 right off Rice and ULM. And we blew leads against Troy and SO Al.

Maybe he restricted who can drive there and they run or ride a bicycle in so parking lot looks empty

Did I read somewhere on here you have 2 degrees? For someone with 2 degrees reading isn’t your strong suit. I clearly said I give mike a pass on wins and loses because of the depleted roster. The things I’m talking about are blatantly obvious to the eye if you watch the games. His teams aren’t as discipline as Napier’s were. I attribute that to all the changes he made to make things more easy and laid back, through out the year, on his team.

Dr Brian Maggard when talking about why he hired Mike. “When we hired coach Napier the product was broken and we needed change to fix it. Now that the product is no longer broken we don’t need to fix it but we need to keep it going as it is. That’s why think Mike is our man he knows the system and how to keep it going.” First thing mike did was structurally change the processes in place.

Again if you think the changes in camp are only about where one sleeps you continue to prove you know nothing about this sport and the process.
