Thread: Meanwhile in Ruston...

  1. UL 1984, 1999 . . . . Re: Meanwhile in Ruston...

Destin Cajun texted If I'm reading data correctly the Cajuns finished 116th in the Director’s Cup standings. No. 1 in SBC, LoTech 247, hoax 253.

    I replied
So LoTec not only in the same zip code with the Hoax they’re in the same block.

    Destin agrees
    Trailers side by side.
    I replied
I love the trailer park they’re in. The SPCA checks out LoTec dog weekly for signs of heat abuse

Same here. Last time I saw him was a couple or 3 years back in San Marcos.

Does this mean academics brings in more revenue than athletics? 43 M (does tuition count as well? What is that about 200M in tuition?) Athletics budget is 35M?

I know we love to hate on the Turds for all the stuff they pull historical but logically what value does L.A. tech bring to the state as a whole? I mean why are there 4 public 4 year Universities in north Louisiana?

Seems like a better use for shrinking state funding would be split up the programs between the other three Universities and Ruston tech becoming a 2 year Juco. The remaining employee could go work for the new bucees. They'd probably be paid more there too. Lol.

Academics brings in 30 times what athletics brings in, but if not for athletics no one would even know the school exists.

Which means, that whatever academics currently brings in, would eventually atrophy.

And no, that doesn't mean they get a trophy.
