Agree. Timme will be lucky to stick. JB, with the same predicament, cannot be faulted for taking the money. It’s the system. And he’ll play whatever position Memphis needs him. JB’s own personal development will never top the team’s need.

I wonder what percentage of that $ will be his RCAF membership and alumni association donations

Well you had to pursue entry in to the portal to be offered the deal, *(allegedly) so if a. Had not been done b. May not exist. Ergo many on here would not have entered the portal and thus not taken the offer that wouldnt exist.

One thing to remember, Louisiana has an "Income Tax". Not sure if Tennessee does but if they don't that extra 225 will go a lot further than if he was offered the same here.

Someone posted on Twitter that Jordan has to miss most of the first semester due to academics. If true, that may be why schools like Kentucky and Gonzaga backed off. Personally I hope he does well. He has a Ragin Cajuns degree and I always pull for fellow alumni.

I have no animosity towards Jordan Brown, he is simply taking advantage of the current NIL system in place. I'm happy for him, but his NIL request was simply a price to steep for this program and most G5s.
