    Sure could have used that rule change the last 25 years. Seemed like the ONLY time that rule was enforced was when the Cajuns were in a regional/Super-regional, always when playing LaSohh

    I absolutely loathe this proposal because it removes some of the finesse and skill from pitching. That said, the committee will most likely approve the change because leaping is now allowed in the international rules. The NFHS would then follow suit in either 2024 or ’25.

    They gotta protect the big school pitchers that are doing it all the time.

    I've always been a proponent of the safety (double) base at first. Seems like a no brainer, and should have been done long ago. Also, speed up the time between pitches.

    It makes sense in baseball too where the runner is obligated to stay in the running lane located in foul territory, while running to a base located in fair territory.

    They always have been allowed to... when... they pitched against Lotief coached teams.
