It needs to be demolished and a new arena built owned and operated by the university. Similar to The McCarthy Center at Gonzaga.

Yes, will be a bid if anything moves forward. Guy is just getting his name out there with this stunt. Notice he didn’t say free but said “half” what anyone else would charge. Any legit company knows you can’t do this for a public building.

Pressure washing or painting won't make Blackham any prettier. It's just an ugly building. Original Blackham's aesthetic may have been worth salvaging (prior to its expansion renovation):

If someone’s doing it because they really want to help, they’ll make a phone call. What they won’t do it promote their “idea” like crazy on social media while asking people to follow his page at the same time. Would also help if “The Paint Guys” were registered with the state. Maybe then he could bid on this type of job like legit companies. I’m sure he’s doing business under his other company but he may want to also check with the Secretary of State because he forgot to do something important. Of course that doesn’t matter either since neither “company” is shown as licensed with the state. Even if he volunteered to do it for free, he can’t.
