Man, this one hurts
It’s exactly what happened. College football is done for. They are moving closer and closer to a 32 team super league. This is also what happens when you have 7k in attendance and lack of funds from a very small fan base. It is what it is. Good luck kid.
It's making harder and harder to support college football. The NIL in theory was a good idea but it's absolutely ruining college sports. You find develop a player only to see him leave
College football is dead.
LSUAM, ole miss, Miami, Florida, Alabama, Michigan State. All offers according to some media outlets.
It’s just sick.
..but, it’s the world we live in now. Fans can throw a pitty party about it. I want to know what the coaches are going to do. Developing high school players is a fundamental aspect coaching. But then you’ve got to worry about them getting poached. And make no mistake. That’s what’s happening. How do we backfill without falling behind?
As a season ticket and TG spot holder since graduation in the mid 90s and an RCAF member since its inception, I am seriously considering quitting putting money into college football. I’ll just sit on my patio on Saturdays in the fall and watch TV. NIL and transfer portal is killing the G5 schools.
Lol
I really don’t think the transfer portal is killing the G5 schools. I think some coaching staffs are taking advantage of it and bringing in players from power five schools that may not be getting enough playing time and that could help G5 , but our coaching staff is not doing this?
