Watched a good bit of the beach chickens hosting Marshall this weekend. They lost 2 of 3 but all the games were competitive.

We lost to a bad App state team so can’t take anyone lightly, really. Especially on the road.

There are times when Sam Landry looks like an All-American. Today is one of them. Kid has amazing stuff..once she finds the consistency, and she will, they have a future WCWS arm.

Yes he did especially with pinch hitters, but still problems with a couple of steal calls.

That game was hard to watch. 7 errors between the two teams; hardly great softball. Luckily Texas State had 5 of the 7. Sam was outstanding and Megan was really good until the end when she let bad umpiring get in her head.

I visited several times with Jennifer Mullins' dad at this weekend's games, and we agreed that the umpiring in this league is atrocious. Blue detracts from every game and adversely affects both pitchers and hitters. Blue isn't biased, just incompetent.

Totally agree. They are really bad and detract from the game.
