I wonder if the move to third base has any affect on Max’s offensive production. Just the different challenges mentally

Possibly so. Max was not a great hitter last year but he is down from those number dramatically. He was only a .253 hitter last year. But sub .200 is not gonna cut it.

Max had a blunder last night that cost DeBo an error. But I agree he's been pretty solid.

Not sure I like JT as a lead off hitter. I get the OBP and it is good but he doesn't have the tools that Max has.

Explain that. As a base stealer, I completely agree, although Taylor can definitely run.

Taylor’s knowledge of the strike zone seems to be much better. He hit .390 in JC last year with a crazy high OB% and that’s carried over this season.

I’d just rather have a guy that gets on at a high clip in front of guys like Debo, Rocco, Brock and Hood.

Max is leading off again tonight in Biloxi, so I guess it just is what it is. I hope he gets it going.

That was a rough error on Debo, I was talking to people at the game and we could not believe that was an error on Debo, Max was trying to make a play and cut right in front of Debo, if Debo is able to make it clean (without Max cutting in front of him) it is a clean out, but Debo had almost no chance once Max cut in front of him. Should have been scored a basehit. I don't see logically how you can give an error to Debo on that play. Just my personal opinion.

Agree that it’s an awful scoring decision to give Kyle an error there.
