Looks like a backstop from a 13U USSSA field. About 10 feet behind the catcher. She probably makes it because the catcher did not play it well but not a horrible idea to hold up.

She was on the bag off the release, so he never had the option. Lefty swinging, stud hitter so I get her being close. Tough read though.

Would have been a nice momentum starter off a misplay by the catcher.
