If UL at L and Tech meet in the I-Bowl, it will be the largest group of people that don't care for the "Evil Empire" ever assembled in Louisiana. We should use the platform if we get it.

It will require an effort that only a cult like aTm could pull off, but I have a plan. T-Shirts in respective school colors with Go Dawgs! or Geaux Cajuns! on the front and LSU Sucks! on the back. With 5 minutes left in each quarter, stand up and turn around. Remain with backs to the field for 5 minutes (real-time). Or, if you want to make a political statement about the state of things in Louisiana, go with "End LSU Apartheid!"

Really? I must've missed that. UL at L is certainly not on the top of my list of opponents, but I don't think I ever campaigned against anybody (except Western Michigan and Tulsa). I have posted that the I-Bowl is not required to select a 6-6 Belt team over a 6-6 non-Belt team and I stand by that. But, like I said, IF...

And, for the record, IF we do play a team from the Belt, it should be ULL.

I still think it's going to be Memphis though.

Bad plan. Taking the biggest athletic forum either of us have had in some time (I don't count you playing the bowl on the blue field because I think I was the only non Tech fan watching) and devoting it to LSU would make both schools look like backwater, petty, jealous losers.

On second thought, it is a good idea for Tech fans.

The bowl won't want this matchup, BUT the NCAA by-laws state the members of the same conference CAN play against each other in a bowl game.
