Kenny Almenderes kicks five field goals. Good for him, I am happy for the young man. Problem is 2 of them should have been touchdowns. The difference in score at the end of the third quarter tonight was about the same as it was a week ago. I was not comfortable at all until the last few minutes of the game. The lack of touchdowns in the second half is a concern.

It's almost the opposite of the first games. Slow start but strong finish.

I must admit other than the shuffling of the defense on the first touchdown we have called a good game on both sides of the ball. The coaching staff has really shown improvement to me congratulations all around. Two weeks in a row the running game has a pulse.

Crowd was decent. Cajuns played solid. Nice win in the books !!

Decent? It was terrible. The Cajuns got the win which was the most important goal of the night.

I don’t think anyone is too happy with this season after what we’ve seen the 2 years before. But after basically being depleted of our coaching staff, support staff, and seasoned players, we all had to know it was going to be a rebuilding season. And we have been rebuilding. Winning a game 6 and hopefully going to a bowl will give us a few more weeks of practice and another game. Then hopefully a good recruiting class. Mike will have learned a lot as a head coach. We should be better on offense next year. I’m looking forward to next season.
