I'm not ready to call it a worthless hire. I think he's learning some hard lessons early on in the job. But there has got to be change. This group of staffers will either dig us out of an enormous hole or bury us for good, financially. We are in a new day and age with regard to collegiate athletics. We have GOT to get the next few years right.
Great ep as usual guys. Hope I can hop on more spaces soon.
Re: the Greek community at UL, I appreciate the current students' comments. As a somewhat recent UL graduate, I do not think the dire state of Greek life at all universities, including ours, is appreciated by the older crowd. The "good ole days" are long over. The way rules and regs are currently constructed, any fraternity event could be construed as a violation of university rules and/or federal laws. Greeks are handcuffed in so many ways today that I am not surprised to see the lack of engagement at our sporting events. Cheers to all of you still putting up with it.
