Back in the day when I didn't hate you quite so much for being a never ending rotten little troll, and the idiots on the game day page that would type every other post about replacing Levy with Chandler & you defended the obvious. I was like I'm glad someone else is doing this so I don't have to. Because you were right in defending one of the three greatest QBs in the history of the school against moronic futility.
Now you are just pecking as you usually do, to hear yourself peck on a keyboard. The only reason Chandler got the starting job over Ben is obvious. Ben is a transfer & Chandler has been here & INHERITED the job. If Mike felt so good about Chandler to begin with, he wouldn't have gone to a two QB system to begin with. He wouldn't have even accepted Ben's application to play here. And as time goes on it becomes more & more apparent who the better player is. Is Chandler capable of starting. He can come in & start if Ben gets hurt, but we won't be going anywhere very fast. If you don't see the difference in athleticism, confidence, leadership, connection with his receivers then you aren't a very good observationist. You're just a troll trying to get a response.
Prior to this season, a (big) piece of me wondered if Ben might get the starting job due to timing.
The big question is will Zeon be the future? I wondered if Ben would get the starting job, we'd redshirt Zeon, next year Ben would be a senior and Zeon still only a freshman who might compete next year but definitely would be the frontrunner for 2024.
I've been a Chandler guy since he stepped onto campus but I just wonder if he is a much better throwing Brooks Haack? Not only does he seem a little slow in making the commitment to run, he just might be a step too slow.
Ben threw some sweet balls Wednesday. That end zone toss to Dontae was special. And his deep balls were more than adequate. I think Chandler would have had the same success throwing the ball but running? I just don't know.
I still think our record would be better if either of these cats had played entire games.
Mike just needs to make his decision on one or the other.
