One of our most well played games of the season. But I’ll say, USA hit balls hard and hurt themselves a lot today. Pitching was nails. Defense was OUTSTANDING.

In a 9 inning game the starter has to pitch 5 complete innings to be eligible for the win. Otherwise the official scorekeeper decides who gets the win, usually the most effective reliever.
