I counted. There were 85 Cajun fans. There were 200 Bobcat fans. The Bobcat fans that were all dressed up last year at Lamson Park we're not there.

Between our two pitchers, we threw 136 pitches.

Megan threw 49 alone in her two innings.

    Mullins threw 75.

That’s a lot of fatigue on our arms, and a lot of opportunity for them.

It’s softball man. Arm fatigue isn’t that big of a thing with the natural underhand throwing motion.

Sports injury industry is finding that is a misconception.

You don’t have to do a particularly intensive Google search to find literature regarding this subject. In fact, I even found one that said there might be hip issues with softball pitchers.

But more to the point, one of those foul balls could’ve been a gapper and the game was tied.

Not surprising, since it is self serving.

I seem to remember when Louisiana had one pitcher who pitched virtually every game all year and pitched every game in the Super Regionals.

It did finally wear her out, but not due to injury.

Then what do you mean by “Finally wear her out”?

Did she get bored? Did she lose interest?

    Just what “Wore her out”?

Yeah, we did see pitchers throw tons of pitches back in the day.

So why do we need two (Or more) now?

But again, you didn’t address the number of opportunities.

Megan threw 49 pitches in two innings.

If somebody is getting 12 to 15 swings, I’m just inclined to believe that we’re gonna eventually see A hit.
