I vividly remember that series! We were in College in the student section going NUTS

Brad coaches the boys team at Southside. I don't know who coaches the girls team. Regardless nice shot by his daughter at crunch time. It was a good night for the Sharks on Friday as the boys earned their first ever win at STM by a score of 44 to 37. Fairly low scoring game. I don't know if either team held the ball for awhile. Eventually, a shot clock will be part of HS ball in Louisiana. Several other states have made this change. I know there will be a cost involved to do so.

There was no holding of the ball to run the clock. STM couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn Friday night. They missed many layups and free throws. Not many threes made either. Credit to Southside as they play some tenacious defense. They jumped out to a 9-1 lead and held on the rest of the way. Refs were bad both ways as many fouls were called. Seemed like neither team could get in a rhythm.
The girls game was pretty entertaining going into overtime and Brad’s daughter draining a 3 to win by 1. Congrats to you Brad. Super proud moment as a coach and more importantly as a father.
