No, he didn’t originate it. Yes, we can still use it. But people are complaining on here that Florida stole the saying from UL when UL has nothing to do with the quote. School smartly made a little money when it was a hot quote but doesn’t own the quote like people are implying.

If I had to hazard a bet, I’d say originated in a casino or a gambler.
What bothered me was the poster basically lectured everyone about something most knew.
