Think you’d be surprised at how many locals support the NOLA Bowl. Definitely more than the 2200 your percentage suggests. I’m pretty sure your athletic department could provide you with the App tickets sold. Those App sold tickets could actually be more or less than the half you believe. Many away fans donate their tickets to local NOLA charities.

Based on my own first hand knowledge of the event, there were well over 8k App fans there at the bowl game vs UAB. As i recall there were more App fans there than UAB fans. There were unaffiliated also there but as to their numbers i am less sure.

……Well the “Sea of Red” game where we had the entire bottom and top filled even in the end zones was one of the finest Cajun times….what NO bowl was that / Anybody have pics ?
