I tend to agree with Brian. But this was from Kendal Rogers so I thought it was noteworthy. That would be an exciting regional for LA baseball fans.

Kendall was still slotting Fairfield as the auto-bid winner for the MAAC (which is still the right thing to do at this point) and there were no at-large bid #4 seeds in the projections.

With regular season champion Charlotte having been eliminated in two games (double elimination), a CUSA regional may come down to the tournament champion ... assuming that champion is Southern Miss or Tech. Southern Miss now has the upper hand. The season series is now 5-4 in favor of Tech. But another Tech loss to USM and a tournament title for the Golden Eagles could do it for them. I do not see CUSA getting two host sites. Not out of the realm of possibility they get none (what if ODU wins tournament?).

Too bad you stumbled the last 15 games. You could have hosted in that new ballpark the Feds paid for.
