I see per Scout the Cajuns have offered Andre Gautreaux. Have you heard if he has made a decision? I know he has a "special" connection within the UL administration.

Andre has not been offered yet, despite the error on his profile. The staff likes him, but we have offers out on several WR's and we are looking JUCO as well. We will see if he comes in on an official visit later this fall.

Andre took an unofficial visit to campus when UL reported the day before preseason camp opened.

His quarterback at Friendswood (Texas) High, Jacob Karam, has already committed to sign with Texas Tech. So expect Andre to get plenty of passes thrown his way as a senior.

I agree. I saw his reel and I loved his game. He seems to be a complete player that just knows how to play the game. I don't know about how his speed would stack up against DB's in D-1 but he is a heck of a ball player. I'd love to see him in a uniform next year.
