It’s usually wiped out and gone by the 2nd inning anyway.
Those of ya'll who follow college softball and all the rules, I just noticed for the first time that chalked rectangle in the pitcher's circle. I've never seen it thus far at my kid's tournaments (up to 14U), and haven't noticed it in the few high school games I've seen.

What does that rectangle mean for the college game? What's its purpose?

Well 3 of the Softball teams goals have been accomplished. The other goals are still there.

I am telling you there is no advantage to us or South Alabama if we or them are the home or away team. What advantage would we have today batting last versus batting first? None.

That's not the point. We should be home team. Unbeaten, no. 1 seed.
