I like Brad. Always have. But, in addition to him having no college coaching experience (which I believe immediately disqualifies him) he didn't help his cause by both he and his wife publicly bashing Marlin on social media a few years ago.

Also, I would expect Coach Marlin to extend the offer to a minority candidate, since he lost a minority coach.

First of all, Brad could pass for a minority candidate.

Second, since you brought it up how exactly did he bash Marlin?

Third, why wouldn’t Marlin want to bring a homegrown product back into the program who could obviously help repairing relationships with the fans and players that Marlin himself has alienated?

Wow Jay!!! I coached for 2 years with Robert Lee. Plenty of road trip stories of me you and the coaching staff during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons, should I share those or no? I was not titled as an asst, but best believe my input was being used on a daily basis. I was at all the practices and worked with the players and coaching staff. How did I Publicly bash Marlin a few years ago? I can’t wait to see you in person and discuss this further. Let’s keep my wife out of this, or I can share the stories of your activities on those road trips.

I hear you on that. Had a poster who brought up my family a while back and I had to personally call him out. I spoke to coach Danny a while back and he had high praise for you as a player and coach. I hope you get another spot on the coaching staff soon. The Cajuns need you.

Wake up. Nobody is talking about me and I could care less what that knucklehead does or does not do. You said you can confirm that he does not have you on sleep mode. Just like you have no means to confirm anything about me, you have no means to confirm that about you. I know this is way over your head, but I gave it a try.

All the wise people have told me TIMING is everything!!! And I have all the respect For Danny B and what he has done for me. He taught me a lot about the game and how to manage the game and a program!

Get rid of Marlin ASAP and promote Morris to head coach with Brad Boyd as an assistant with another young hot-shot assistant.
After a few years of success, Morris will move on and open the door for Boyd to take over.
Time to wake up the Cajundome.
