Thread: Players for Next Year

I'm interested to hear about the rest of the seniors. Manac, Gardner, J.Bell, Dillon, Solomon, Robertson, Prudomme.

IMO, Humphrey's decision to come back is good for him. He needs to work on his body, get leaner and quicker. Didn't see him in the backfield very much. He's a load, but to play on Sunday, he needs to improve a lot.

Was his KO after the ULC penalty from the 20 yd line the longest in UL history?

To the best of my knowledge (which isn't much) not in football.

Bunches in baseball and Elfrid Payton in basketball.

No knowledge. But I think if j bell is healthy he comes back and this would be huge. Bell had 34 catches in 2019. He would really help our receiver corps that is young and good. he is a different kind of wr then lacy, Fleming, Rogers and Leblanc. I really think bell would have been great this year. I also loved the growth of Jalen Williams. I would love to see him come back. But considering his age I would assume he is moving on.

If C.Manac comes back, no telling how far this team can go.

Is there a deadline to "announce" or can someone just quietly show up first day of practice or just tell coach privately without announcing

I expect all are having a meeting to discuss options to stay or their decision to leave the program. I also believe some who may be on scholly today may not be if they decide to stay for another year. Many pieces of the puzzle for our coaches to figure out....way more than anytime in the past.

I don't think Napier will leave that to chance.
